On April 1, Sheremetyevo International Airport will shut down Terminal C and close it for reconstruction. In accordance with the long-term airport development program, reconstruction of Terminal C will allow it to be integrated in 2019 with Terminal B currently under construction (opening in 2018) and to expand throughput of the North Terminal Complex and Sheremetyevo airport as a whole.
The airline flights previously departing from Terminal C were switched to Terminals E and F.
At the end of April, new check-in counters will be opened in Terminal E due to the switch of airlines from Terminal C and the planned increase in passenger traffic. Ariana Afghan Airlines will make flights to Kabul from Terminal F, Air Algerie will fly to Algiers from Terminal E and Nordwind Airlines will make international flights from Terminals E and F.
Starting April 22, Air Serbia flights will be transferred from Terminal F to Terminal E to optimize the business processes and improve passenger service quality.
