Sheremetyevo International Airport renders a whole set of airport services to airlines

Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport is the largest hi-tech terminal complex in Eastern Europe with throughput of 35 million passengers a year and leading Russian cargo hub. Airport operates on 2 parallel independent runways fit for any type of aircraft without restrictions and provides full range of aviation and non-aviation services.

200 destinations in 60 countries form SVO route network and served by more then 60 passenger and freight carriers — members of three world alliances — SKYTEAM, Star Alliance and oneworld and independent airlines.

In Moscow region Sheremetyevo is the closest airport to the city boarder (28km) and has fastest air rail connectivity with the city centre (35 minutes).

Since 2005 when first stage of airport reconstruction program started SVO has been completely modernized.

Today 5 airport terminals 3 of which are brand new form Southern and Northern terminal complexes located on the opposite sides of the airfield with convenient and effective transport connectivity via apron.

“Under one roof” concept is implemented in Southern Terminal complex, which terminals F, E, D connected by pedestrian galleries both land and air side and where 90% of airport international and domestic passenger traffic accumulated. Aeroexpress air rail terminal also combined with Southern terminal complex provides high speed rail access to the heart of Moscow.

Northern terminal complex consists of Terminal B dedicated to low-cost domestic traffic and Terminal C where charter flights to leisure travel destination mostly operated.

In 2010 19,3 million people chose SVO for their travel which is 30% more then in 2009, average monthly growth of passenger traffic was highest among European airport serving 15-25 million passengers a year. Cargo operations grew on 36% up to 221,6 thousand tons.

By 2015 SVO plans to increase passenger traffic up to 35 million a year , raise non aviation revenue up to 60% and to become leading European airport by quality of customer service.
